Loli Love and Babino

Meet Loli Love and Babino. This dynamic duo hails from Newport, Oregon and they are bringing cool kitsch, burlesque bump and grind, and enough switcheroo energy to make your head spin. These two have been collaborating as a dancing duo for years and now they are bringing their Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau act to the Rhinestone Rodeo Club stage. Expect the unexpected. Expect to lose your mind a little. Expect to love every second of it. Newport's finest are coming to steal the gem of the Oregon Coast's heart.

Text overlays include bold, stylized phrases like "Rhinestone Rodeo," "Starring Opal," and descriptions of a wild west follies variety show.

Opal Essence

Emerging from the mist somewhere between a fever dream and a forest legend, Opal Essence is a queer performer, mixed media artist, fire dancer, and Pacific Northwest local cryptid. Performing burlesque for the past seven years, she is known for acts that drift effortlessly between eerie and ethereal, absurd and alluring, blending dreamy dark aesthetics with humor and theatrical storytelling. She ranges from hauntingly seductive to delightfully strange, sometimes both at once.

When not shimmying under stage lights, she works as a massage therapist, creates art, is involved in local theater, and can often be found befriending animals or disappearing mysteriously into the woods. She believes there is power in silliness, sensuality, embracing your inner strange creature, and questioning reality from time to time.

A woman with short red hair and tattoos on her arm, dressed in a black blazer and fishnet tights, stands on stage, singing or performing with her right arm raised and a joyful expression. The background features colorful friends with added text promoting an event called 'RhineStone Rodeo,' 'starring Darlin Maim,' with descriptions of a 'socialist seductress' and a 'wild west follies variety show,' in bright, playful colors.

By day they coordinate for the National Lawyers Guild in the fights against ICE and the significant repression of first amendment rights by law enforcement in our communities. By night they use their signature and award-winning form of whimsy and clownery to educate, agitate, and organize on stage. A producer of shows about mental health, about the radical importance of queer art in a world that seeks to destroy us, and our collective power on the ground, in our communities, and in our works places, Karla Marx is what we would describe as a "real one". Welcome to the stage the nonbinary nuisance, the organizer with an OH face, the they/them causing all kinds of mayhem.... Karla Marx!!!
